Build Relationships

The Caswell Chamber of Commerce creates opportunities for the Caswell businesses, entrepreneurs, and farmers to gather and fellowship. Our meetings foster leadership development and sharing to build a strong business community.

 

Our signature events include our annual membership banquet and golf tournament—two of the biggest events the community has to offer for meeting leaders in the area. Our fall festival, the Bright Leaf Hoedown ongoing for over 40 years, is the largest Caswell County community event providing an environment where our businesses and entrepreneurs are able to showcase their offerings all in a fun and creative way.

Meet and Greets

Whether a ‘business at breakfast’ or ‘business after hours’ our meet and greets provide a fun environment at various member locations in the county. These events are free to attend and are an excellent way to promote your products and services while also building relationships with business contacts to help grow your businesses. Our current meet and greet meetings, the Connecting Caswell Networking series, spotlights area leaders and their locations as they share with the community the work they do and the positive impacts it has on our county.

& Grand Openings

The Chamber is happy to celebrate its members with ribbon cuttings and grand openings throughout the year. If you are a new business or celebrating a remodel or expansion, please contact the Chamber to schedule your ribbon cutting.

More Opportunities

Throughout the year additional opportunities arise for gathering our members in the Caswell community. Lunch and Learns are coordinated with area businesses and the Chamber partners with other groups to promote their activities as well. Each fall our annual Bright Leaf Hoedown is held. 

 

Each Christmas season, we work with the Caswell County Historical Association, the Caswell Arts Council, the Lights Committee, the Town of Yanceyville, and Caswell County to coordinate the annual Tree Lighting Event complete with Artisan Booths, Santa, and more!  The Saturday following that event is the annual Christmas Parade.

Bright Leaf Hoedown

The Event of the Year

With thousands in attendance in recent years the annual Bright Leaf Hoedown, held the last Saturday in September, promises fun for the entire family. With over 100 vendors, two stages of live entertainment, food, and fun for all, this event is the flagship fundraising event of the Chamber. 

 

There are ample opportunities for Chamber Members to participate in this event including sponsorship opportunities to promote their business and numerous volunteer openings to network with the community.   • Advertising - The Chamber offers a variety of advertising options to our members including directory listing upgrades, website banner ads, ads in our newsletters, and e-blasts.
  • Website - This website is your direct connection to the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce, Caswell County businesses, and businesses in the surrounding counties.

Communications & Public Relations

  • Articles in The Caswell Messenger

    Member organizations are interviewed for articles to be published in The Caswell Messenger. The paper has partnered with the Chamber to allow us to submit these articles twice a month to feature/promote the Chamber Member organizations at no charge. 

  • What's Happening in Caswell E-Newsletter Blast - During the first week of each month the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce will share with the membership and community an update on events, happenings, and programs the Chamber has planned. The blast also includes updates on member organizations' works, events, specials, and happenings. We welcome member flyers and information for that e-blast. The newsletter is sent to all members and others in the community that are involved in making Caswell County a great place to do business, live, play, and work.

  • Market Caswell (Printed Newsletter) - This newsletter highlights the work the Chamber does in the community, introduces new members, shares events, and enables members to advertise their services. 

Promotion & Sponsorship

  • Sponsorship - There are many sponsorship opportunities available at a variety of investment levels. From sponsoring an individual event to supporting the mission of the Chamber throughout the year, sponsorship is a great way to keep a business's name and values in front of the community.   • Relocation/New Resident Packets - Chamber members are invited to place promotional materials in our relocation packets at no charge. These packets are requested by individuals moving to the Caswell County area.

  • Tourism Promotion - The Caswell County Chamber of Commerce works to promote the attractions in Caswell County. We work closely with the Economic Development Office and the newly formed Tourism Development Authority.

  • Events Calendar - Working with other organizations within the county, the events calendar provides a way to see a glimpse of what is happening throughout the county. The calendar may be viewed for Chamber-only events or all county events.

  • Job Postings - As a member of the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce your job openings can be posted here at no cost as a member service. Contact the Chamber for more details.

  • Membership Plaque - Studies show that consumers prefer to do business with Chambers. Members are encouraged to display their annually updated membership plaque with pride.

The Chamber provides a discounted rate for a subscription to Constant Contact's powerful and easy-to-use tools if your company is in need of an email newsletter service.

Worker’s Compensation Insurance Program

Chamber Members can obtain worker’s comp insurance through First Benefits Insurance Mutual. Professional underwriting services, competitive pricing, and efficient claims management to help injured workers return to work as quickly are available to members via this offering.

 

Healthcare Assistance

The Caswell Chamber in partnership with the Caswell Family Medical Center and Piedmont Health has joined forces to help Chamber Member businesses that do not offer employees insurance benefits obtain a reduced rate for medical services. This is not an insurance policy.

 

Marketing and Brand Development Consultation

The Caswell County Chamber of Commerce can assist in developing a logo/brand identity for your organization and consult on digital marketing to grow your business. A complimentary consultation is available.

As a developing Chamber of Commerce, at this point we are not staffed to provide extensive advocacy, however, we are interested in being a voice advocating on your behalf when we can.
