Caswell Chamber of Commerce Breakfast Tour in Milton, Tuesday, April 5, 2022. All are invited.
On a spring Tuesday, April 5, 2022, there will be a gathering at the Thomas Day House Museum in Milton and all are invited. The businesses and organization there have gotten together along with the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce to organize a complimentary breakfast for the community. If you were not aware, the State of North Carolina has designated the Thomas Day House Museum to hopefully be developed into the next NC Historic Site. This will be the 28th NC Historic Site to be designated in our state and that means great things for the Town of Milton, Yanceyville, and Caswell County.
The intent of the event is to provide for the citizens all around an update on the process and the opportunity to ask questions. Milton Mayor, Patricia Williams stated, “The Town of Milton is very excited that the Caswell County Chamber of Commerce is hosting this breakfast event here. The opportunity to offer what is happening in Milton to the entire county and region is important to us, and we welcome the community to come and see what we are all about here in Milton”.
The event will be hosted at the Thomas Day House Museum also known as the Milton Town Hall, where there will be an introduction and opportunity to meet with community members. Following that, a brief walking tour or ‘sneak peek’ by a few of the establishments in Milton will provide the flavor of the town. There will be details on the eateries on Broad Street, a look into the antique, collectibles shop and general store. In addition, the restored Milton Renaissance Foundation Museum & Visitor Center will be open and a delightful visit at the Milton Studio Art Gallery will get your morning off to a great start.
Whether you have been to Milton or not, you are invited to be a part of this event so you are informed about what is happening in our community. It begins at 8:00 am so that you can stop in before work, spend a few minutes, get a nice breakfast, and be off to work by 9:30.
Please call 336.694.6106 to reserve a space so we have enough food for all. See you there!
