Have you ever wanted to pick up an instrument? Learning the strings can be a real challenge, especially for beginners. Maybe you’ve even tried in the past, but just couldn’t get the hang of it. Regardless of your background in music, Kyle Foster is here for you. With experience working with students from age 7 to 70, Foster is passionate about teaching, music, and teaching music.
He has an infectious love for music, and believes that anyone can learn to play, regardless of their initial talent. “It’s all about consistency and dedication,” says Foster. “Anyone can learn to play an instrument if they’re willing to stick with it.”
Even if you think you don’t have a single musical bone in your body, you can learn if you’re willing to commit to it. “Seeing my students grow is the best part,” he remarks.
Anybody can do it, it just takes practice.
Born and raised in Caswell County, Foster gained an interest in music from his father who played the guitar. By the time he was in high school, he had taught himself how to play the guitar with a bit of help from his friends. After he graduated, Foster worked at Piedmont Community College for a while, where he developed a passion for teaching that has stuck with him to this day.
If you’re looking to learn how to play the guitar, bass, or ukulele, consider contacting Kyle Foster through his facebook or send him an email at kylefosternc@outlook.com.
